To share a common electrical ground connect cpu to secondary psu
take a signal from 4pin molex (from main power supply) to start a second power supply (through the 24 pin atx) and make them startup and shutdown coodinatingly
This is used to daisychain PSUs to a mobo for mining. You still need to hook up your first psu like normal.
These cards allow you to power up multiple computer power supplies at the same time. You simply connect a 4 pin molex from the power supply that is hooked up to your motherboard, and then plug in your new power suppliy's motherboard cable to this card. That is it. When you shut down your main power supply, this will shut down the secondary one too. It is very easy to use, and lets you hide your secondary power supply out of the way.
Works great. Was using EVGA tester adaptor but i like the safety of this product better. The ability to have it shut down the other power supply while dual PSU'n on mining rigs is a must have incase of the system crashing. These also have pads on the back like the PCI risers have.
